black dot on viewfinder

I have only had my nikon d300 for a week and it came with a very clear solid black dot when u look through the view finder. doesnt show up on photos, tried blowing it with bulb blower, didnt work.

Does anyone know what it is?

Shouldnt dust look blury though through the view finder? If it is dust how do i get it off?

No it doesn't look blurry.

If I were you, I'd try and ignore it, you could end up doing more harm than good!

I'm defo taking it back now, not havng that after spending all that money.

brill just found out i am in my rights to get a replacement

LOL. They'll probably change it for you or possibly clean it, but it's inevitable that dust will re-appear some stage.
