Black rapid RS-7 strap: increasing it's security?

Just bought this (very expensive!) strap, and a friend commented that she met someone who made it more secure by 'putting' a wire in the strap.

Any suggestions on beefing it's security up (or if it's necessary!)

That's the Sun Sniper Steel she's talking about not an RS-7. The Black Rapid straps are secure enough in their own right

James, I use my Black Rapids as they came out of the box with no security issues at all. I use one on my 1Diii with a 200 f.2.8is and once you get use to it, its as safe as houses. One tip though, lick the washer before you screw it to your body, suppose to give you an even tighter fit.
