Just recieved mine tonight, birthday pressie :D

They do one of these fr-t1 tripod solutuion what is stopping me just clipping it straight onto the quick release plate :thinking: or am i missing something obvious :shrug:
 
The manfrotto loop isn't rated and isn't designed to hold weight, merely to twist the bolt in. I've got these bolts for both my plates, although pricey they are well worth it. Cheapest I found was on ebay
 
Yeah I have the rapid 7 also bought the FastenR-T1 so that I can quickly hook up to my tripod, it works a treat for me, not cheap though for what it is.. I think I was 17.99 for mine..
