Black Rapid Strap & Battery Grip

Hi All,

Following on from my other Black Rapid thread I would like to ask those of you who have one if you have a battery grip on your camera when you use it?

Is it safe to use on a camera with a battery grip?

Or do you attach it straight to the camera base?

Straight to the camera base here, no battery grip - the way the connector screws basically rubber washer to rubber camera base instills confidence.

If using the 70-200 it goes on the tripod collar otherwise it goes either on the base of the camera or the grip. Never had any problems, no reason why you should. I do usually just ensure that the grip is screwed tightly to the camera first but it always is.
