I got one of these last month. 'Tis awesome and about the price I think these straps should be. Very convenient for carrying my 650d on the hip, comfortable and works for me (6ft 1 and 14 stone).

I like the look of that, and it would get rid of the bouncing camera on the belly look :lol:

DR1 dual for me, though I split it down into a single.

I'm 5'10 ish and around 18 stone and use the Black Rapid DR-2 double strap, often split apart to use as a single sling strap. It works for me both as a single and double, but it is extended to be as long as possible. Used as a single strap that is only just long enough and I wouldn't mind another inch or two for use with my biggest lens where the tripod foot is further away from the camera than with shorter lenses. For shorter lenses it is fine as it is. I think if you buy a single strap there may be another inch or two in the length - best to check the specs.
