Hi guys

Just purchased a Black Rapid RS5 Cargo off the classifieds. My question to you all is whats the heaviest kit combo you have used with it.

Cheers
Ben

Cheers for the reply Steve, ill be using it with a 60D and a 400 f5.6. Do you use it while stationary or do u do a fair bit of walking with it? It felt secure when i tried it at home but with the extra loading the camera and lens swinging a little while walking i didn't know if that would affect it much.

i use a rs7 with either a 70-200 f2.8 and a 300 f4.it works nicely with those.i do keep my hand round the tripod foot to stop it swinging and to move through crowds so its not knocked.

Hi Ben, I am comfortable walking any distance with it, I attach it to the lens foot and as my lens is so long and heavy when walking I also hold the lens foot although this is more to stop it swinging and banging into my leg. It is very comfortable and more than capable of carrying the weight un-aided

I use a Black Rapid Yeti and on one side I sling a full frame camera at a 100-400mm lens, which is a rather heavy combo. I use it for 12 hours days with lots of running around (literally running, jumping over ditches) and I've never had a problem. Black Rapid stuff is excellent, especially the fact they do stabilising straps and female fits...

Cheers all, mind now at ease

Ben

I got a scarf on the lens hood the first day I used Black Rapid. Otherwise it's far more comfortable indeed.
