These were taken at the time of the redshanks and ruff but being bigger required sometimes the 2x but more often just the 1.4x.

And finally I like this for the commic value of the bird creeping up on the gull

A good set Mark, I like the way the bird is illuminated in #1 maybe a tad more sharpening on it though. I also like #3 well done

Nice set, 1 is my pick as well, 2 looks a tad too dark in the foreground for me, but thats just a personal thing, nothing wrong with the shot.

Thanks guys, Stuart i`ll have a look at that darkened area at the front of the second but I can`t promise anything as that is probably past my editing skills. John I know it`d be nice to get that kf but at the mo I am happy photographing what I come accross. Dave
