Blackbird, Blue and Great Tits

Hi Folks,

Had a bit of sun here today and managed to get out inthe hide for a bit. Managed to get a few decent shots :shrug:

1: Blackbird.

2: Blue Tit.

3: Great Tit No 1.

4: Great Tit No 2 - prepare for take off .

Nice set! I like the detail in the blackbird's feathers in number 1 and I like the classic take-off pose of number 4.

Thanks for that. I was not sure about the blackbird as the setting is not great but as you say the detail has come out OK.

Very nice feather detail and exposure on the blackbird.

Nice catch on the BT & GT but think that the crop could be a tad tighter as they look a bit lost in the frame.

Thanks for that Tom, it is the first decent Blackbird I have got. I never quite know how far to crop sometimes plus I am struggling slightly with only 6MP to crop too much without losing the detail. Hopefully the D300 I have bought from here will arrive in the next few days and that should give me a bit more scope for cropping .
