Apologies for the carp quality of the snaps, poor light, distance etc, but I thought they were worth posting for the subject.

This female has been very active after protecting her territory from all comers, including all the Scandinavian immigrants we've had.

Let hope the weather's kind to her.

Great set, not sure about no 1 as the bird seems a bit lost in the background but the others are terrific
 
A nice set Anthony, I love No4, great pose and just love the eyes on the Blackbirds.

Lovely set..........they've been busy in my garden as well collecting moss from my lawn(y)
 
Lovely set of shots. We got a blackbird nest building. She's pulling one of our hanging baskets to bits because it's got coconut lining!!!
 
Thanks again all for yor kind comments, I know they're not my best, but it's the spring connection that got me posting :)

It looks like we're in for some cold weather next week, lets hope it's not too bad for them.
