Just been down the woods with my 5D3 and Sigma 150-500 OS. It's such a beautiful day to be out and I think the birds are finding that too. I managed to get to around 15 feet with this one and he just stood and posed. These are SOOC and only cropped, all shots taken at f7.1 and ISO320.

The composition of 1 and 3 is poor, 2 is better with more space on the side the subject is facing. Detail's not bad tho.

I hate to say this and it does really cut me up inside BUT
Nice shots with the natural environment and you did well getting close, crop with a better composition will make these a lot better

Thanks guys, I've still got the originals to play with. I was more interested in getting the details than thinking of the best crop TBH. I only put them on Flickr for a guy I was talking to in the woods who wanted to see them.

Sorry and I might not know much about photography, but No3 stands out more and the detail is far clearer.
