Blackpool steps

I fancied a run out the other night, i quite like Blackpool at the moment so i headed back there. i did want to shoot the North pier at sunset but the cloud was just in the wrong place. So i drop down on to the steps as i really liked the motion in the ocean

I like this. I think you’ve chosen the shutter speed well and got good patterns and shapes in the water. Good sky as well.

thank you, since posting it ive cropped it 5x4 and it seems to work. just wasnt happy with all the sky showing.

Not much wrong with sky except it is darkened way too far. Try to bring back the exposure and getting rid of the vignette.
Very nice movement of the water and colour tones in the foreground.

I really like this shot and your work in general... Flickr followed! The perfect shutter speed... I always overdo it I think with water at times... your sense of movement here is just perfect... and below 1 second... I must learn.... 4 and 5 secs plus is too much!

Keep meaning to head up, even though I hate Blackpool (well the resort part) I think it's worth it just to try and get something as nice as this.
