Bleeding Hearts In My Garden

All winter there was what I thought a dead twigs in a plant pot in my garden. I had planted these bleeding hearts in there last year. It didn't seem to do very well and died off. Like all the pots I leave them there and sort them out the following spring. (Some come back sometimes like Chrysanthemums).
Last month I seen a tiny bit of green on the so called dead twigs. I moved the pot to the back of my garden where the sun hits all day.
A month later the thing has just thrived. Big bushy thing with the beautiful hearts on it

Nice Dicentra Spectabilis, have to laugh to myself as that's the only plant that I actually know the proper name to.
