Lousy day for being out with the camera, but anyways, here is a local spot called the Druid stone (between Blidworth and Ravenshead in Nottinghamshire)

Shame it looks to have been a dull day with a bland sky.

Don't think the foliage on the left is adding to the shot. Looks better to me if I move the browser window to crop it off the screen.

Your link is huge but the file size even at 3 meg is small for that size image so it does look a bit soft from compression. Enjoy your new lens.

Yeah, it was a bad day for it, but still.. nice to be outside.

I have a couple more shots (without the bush) but not yet rendered it. Also AEB so hopefully I can pull out some colours out.

This image is a small file size, but one of the first images uploaded to flikr and at that time, limited to upload sizes etc.

Thanks for the input, as for the lens, i'm loving it. Just need to use it correctly now
