No, the venue screwed the passes up, so I didnt get a photo pass, just a normal guest pass. Thankfully as we were in the venue arguing with security, I spotted the frontman walking past outside. I ran up to the door to shout at him and then the burly security bloke pushed me back in, saying No re-entry. Christofer, the frontman saw this and came to my aid. He couldnt sort the passes out as it was too late, but he took my camera bag with him to leave backstage in thier dressing room so I could pick it up later on.
I took a few after the gig outside for some fan who was desperately trying to get pictures of him and the band members with his little bridge camera and failing miserably, so I offered to take some on my camera for him.
However I now have free access to a festival I was planning on going to anyway next year, as the band are have just agreed to play there and Christofer said he'd sort out AAA passes for me and the misses. So a result there. Plus it was great to catch up with the guys, its been 3 years since we saw them last as they dont play in the UK very often.
Was a very long day and another late night, but worth it I guess...
London is very scary at night when you have £1500 quids worth of camera gear and no idea where you are going.
