Feel free to comment with your own blogs for me to check out and/or follow too! :)

Just being totally honest here please don't take offence, but the images you have posted all seem to have focus issues, or something. I understand sharpness isn't the full stop in photography but i don't believe that even a deliberate fuzzyness would work here. Im only saying this as you have stated they are for your college final submission?

I know they aren't that sharp, I think it's my camera to be honest. I realise that sounds like I'm just not taking any blame but I'm saving up to buy a new one at the moment because this is the first I ever bought before I properly got into photography and in the studio and when close up it does seem to lack sharpness, it seems to be fine with far away shots but close up struggles but I do see what you mean! My tutor has seen the images so far and hasn't mentioned anything so hopefully I will get away with it this time haha! Thanks for pointing it out though, much appreciated! :)

Leigh, it sounds like you might be too close for the lens maybe? Each lens has a minimum focusing distance, maybe move further away get focus locked take the shot then crop the image in processing.

You can't blame the camera its nearly always the user error I should know;)

Look at most fashion/makeup websites the images will be incredibly sharp, you could also do some manual sharpening in processing using unsharp mask or similar. hope that helps!

Thats what I have been, all the images are bigger then cropped ahaha! If I got any closer they would be much worse ahaha! I don't have any more digital shoots now but I'll try it out sometime see if it makes a difference thanks! :)

I'll upload them as soon as they're developed, should be sometime next week hopefully! And thank you very much! :D

could also be down to shutter speed Leigh, on the two images that display exif info, the shutter speed is 1/15! This won't help, and cropping the image probably exaggerates the issue.

How where those images lit? As the lighting doesn't seem to be very uniform!

Would like to see your film shots, added you to my follow list!
