Nice work Ian! I've got a few to try and make a sequence of at some point. Well worth staying up for :)
 
nice. I really struggled to get anything half sharp. so glad I woke up early to see but disappointed with my images. might make it to the next one
 
Cheers guys. :) I would have liked to have taken a sequence but 2 hrs sleep later and I'm in work... pfff :( Gonna be a long day.
 
Good shots.

I was surprised how dim the moon was.

I also have some good shots, with an EFL of 1200mm, taken at various ISO's. 1600 worked well, with 1/2 second at f6.7.

(Oly EPL5 with micro 4/3rd's 300mm lens and 2X digital Tele converter)

I was expecting to take the usual moon shot less a couple of stops.........

Wrong again.
