Blood Sucker (Cantharidae Soldier Beetle)

We use to call these Blood Suckers as Kids.

Nice composition ( the grass cutting the photo diagonally), think it looks like a Soldier Beetle?. Colours of the beetle against the green background is very nice also.

Thanks for commenting. I would have used my 100mm canon macro lens, possibly with tripod and flash.
