Blotchy video?

Went out today to test my new slider, was also he first time I've tried properly shooting video on my 600D.

Any ideas why the video looks so blotchy? I have magic lantern installed.

Looks like compression to be in the same way that you get jpeg compression in photo's there must be a similar form in video, I guess maybe you've saved at a lower standard to reduced the file size?

Hmm, I'm not sure. I think it is something to do with my video setting though, perhaps something within Magic Lantern as the footage looks good when I record. But when I playback even on the screen from the camera it looks blotchy. :bang:
 
Fixed it I think, for some reason Magic Lantern set the bitrate to the lowest setting by default.
