Trying out my new 40D

Poor light today, so ISO a bit high.

Looks a tad soft....what lens did you use? Might just be because of a low shutter speed?

1/160th at f5.6. ISO 800. Lens 70-200mm f2.8 IS L

I wonder if the compression for web has affected it? I never seem to get sharpening right!

do you sharpen after resize?

Its not soft. You were moving. With that lens it could/should be pin sharp. Did you have the IS on?

Yes, but it was very windy and the feeder was moving quite a lot. I don't have a shutter release yet, so it might have been a combination of things. Sorry.
