My first pic upload of dragon fly closeup-didnt have macro lens was with a bigma at 500 mm or so. Had to crop it.

The uniersities do teach them not to crop - which is probably right for a posed picture. Goes out the window when photographing the natural world - in my opinion. Good shot with the wrong weapon.

Yes not the ideal lens I guess, it looks like a Common Blue Damselfly to me.

Was not looking for the pic the pic looked for me-so i took it and was well chuffed with the results
