Blue parrots

you need to get in closer for this to really work. There's a lot of wasted space at the sides and top of the frame :) Exposure is also a bit dodgy, the birds are both underexposed, caused presumably by the camera compensating for the white background.
 
Thanks, I was actually trying to shoot from distance and avoid scaring the birds, and yes I was quite newbie with my camera settings when I was taking this photo and was not aware of the things I can do like exposure compensation and stuff :confused:
 
Two of the features of hyacinth macaws are the huge beak (which you've shown) and the very long tail.
Pity you chopped the tails off, although I do acknowledge it is difficult sometimes to have the time to compose exactly the way you want.
These birds are very rare now, in the wild. I am surprised to see them sitting there like that, in the open. I half expected to see a security guard chained to them !!
 
Nice macaws, shame about the lighting and the background distractions though.
