Blue Tit

Hi all,
While having a break from work I saw this Blue Tit having lunch.
Taken with Nikon Kits lens (55-200mm).

Good effort Graham. As you can see the problem is the feeder and chain are sharper than the bird. Depth of field is next to nothing for these shots - you really need to get that AF spot over the bird's eye or on the head at least

LOL. It's basically just down to technique. Using a tripod might seem like a PITA but it makes life a lot easier. An inch to the left with that AF spot and youi'd have had a nice crisp shot.

Nice capture.

- the blue tits in Essex seem more colourful than here in Hertfortdshire - unless all I am seeing is youngsters who have yet to develop their full plumage?
