Bluetooth memory card and an iPad?

I did a studio course a while ago and the camera was connected to a laptop and the photos shown on a screen after each shot was taken. This got me thinking, I use a Canon 1dmk11n which writes to a cf and sd card and was wondering if I use a Bluetooth sd card and an iPad app (if there is one) can the photos be sent to the iPad instead of viewing on the back of the camera?
 
Yes, the eyefi cards use the free eyefi app. I've just spent the day walking round Chester Zoo shooting with my Sony NEX which was automatically transferring all images to my iPhone in my pocket. When I wasn't shooting I could open the images in Snapseed, edit them how I like then upload directly to Flickr/Facebook as I was walking :0). Gotta love technology!
