Took some pics at coppull and kind of liked this one:-

Taken with MK11 & Canon 70-200 (non IS) and I've cropped it and used PS.

Love the action, the pose is good. 2 things though. Do you think more space to ride into would work? And more importantly, looks like very strong / harsh light, which granted, is difficult to deal with.

I normaly give them room to ride into but for some strange reason this one and the rest of the set just cried out to be cropped close.


very strong / harsh light :) to much and it shines from the wrong direction at Coppull.
 
i really like it i think it could have done with better light conditions for dramatic effect but its cool.

That bike does not look competition worthy though :|
 
I think the crop works because the bike and his gaze are balanced by each other. The only thing I'd like to have would be some sort of motion indicator, but even then you get away with it because of his body position and the fact that 45deg from vertical is not normal. In short - I like that a lot.

Thanks its working now should of tried it myself :bang:


I thinks its the fact that he is leaning over that made me decide to crop tight it gives a feel of him falling out of the pic instead of moving forward.
