You need to be able to see more of what they are doing, where they are taking off from and where they are landing. I have risen BMX for years and i have taken the odd pic of my mates etc.. For me the no hander shot would have looked better on a long lens, not shot looking up his nose. Long lens, you would see the jump etc.... Lighting wise they seem pretty good they are sharp etc... Remember that the person looking at the pictures was prob not there... So they will want to see what the BMXer is doing and what over etc...
