Bodmin Moor

I find the first shot a bit too dark, I can guess what you were going for, and it certainly has a sinister feel, but is a bit too dark for me across the bottom of the image.

Really like the idea of 2, but perhaps the rock is a bit too much in the frame.

3 is my pick, lovely soft side light.

2 and 3 for me

the central no 1 is not my favourite

Nice set, not always easy to convey the remote harshness of a moor.

1, my pick of the three, really like the central composition as it adds to the unease that I'm sure was there, as does the long exposure.
2, shame about the stones really, would have preferred to see more of the beautiful backdrop
3, pleasant enough and nice light

Thanks for the comments folks, plenty to think about - I am new to landscapes so def dont get it right more often than not.
1) The first shot was intentional and kind of came out as I wanted it - I would have preferred more moving skies. as for the dark foreground again intentional to obscure the cars, houses etc and there was nothing of interest there anyway, it was all about the looming tower and mood.
2) From a distance the rocks didnt seem so impressive to my eye, so I got upclose to make them more appealing - that was my thought anyway.
3) This was a different rock formation with the sunset light just setting.
