I'm sure plenty on here shoot with two bodies on a fairly regular basis, so I need to tap in to the knowledge pool again!

So, two bodies, both with lenses attached. Where do you put them?

Both round your neck? One round your neck, one on your shoulder? Both on your shoulders? Neither on you at all? You get the idea.

Would be interested to know how you manage two setups at the same time.

Hmmm, I'm thinking that might not be a viable option for me! :D

(Presuming you are serious): So do you just swap them out of your bag when you are shooting then? What do you do with your bag when you have a camera to your face?

One round the neck, usually the one Im shooting most with, one round shoulder and neck, on a slightly longer strap. Like a shoulder bag if you get me?

Then its fairly easy to switch!

Yep, swap them as I need them. When I'm taking a picture I either put my bag on the floor or hand it to whoever I'm with to hold it for a while :) Today I went out with a Diana and Holgaroid in my handbag and an Olympus OM1 around my neck. If I'm travelling my OH usually ends up carrying them all in his rucksack, poor thing.. no wonder he's got a bad back

Do you not find the straps restrict the movement of the cameras though? I would have thought the diagonal strap would 'pin down' the hanging strap if it's on top, or vice versa?

Sometimes, the body with the lightest lens attached is hung around my neck, the camera with the heavier lens over my shoulder. Other times I may have a body hung over each shoulder. Either way I find I can swap bodies quite quickly and comfortably.

The one on each shoulder approach was the one that first occurred to me, but I wasn't sure how it worked in practice, particularly if you are crouching and bending whilst shooting with the other body?

If crouching doing macro work, chances are that I'll just put the other body on the ground. I use the camo lens covers from Wildlife Watching Supplies so the lens is protected.
