Yes like you I don't quite know why I like this but it works, it might be because the bollards look monochrome and really stand out from the background?

My eye keeps getting drawn to the sky! So It spoils what would otherwise be a nice capture for me. (Although i have no idea what to do about the sky?)

Some things you can work with ... others you have no control over and I guess UK weather is one such :shrug:
I'm not really into Photoshopping sky or things into my pics, so it is what it is I'm afraid, though I might try it again on better day
