Bologna porticoes

I'm in this lovely city for a month, so thought I would try my hand at some shots of the famous porticoes that cover this city. I walked 4km from my flat to the football stadium and was under cover for all but about 100m (not that it rained). Anyway, some pics:

I live near Bologna. You have captured the spirit of the porticoes nicely. Next the climb up to San Luca under the porticoes.
I went up there on Saturday with my brother-in-law (from Lugo) but the weather wasn't great and the crowds didn't help for taking photos. I might try mid-week as it is very photogenic.

I am working my way through your blog - some great places there for me to explore

Lovely shots Ian, I went to Bolonga on a city weekend break a few years ago consciously without camera. An extremely photogenic city with great restaurants.
