Boobies Bay, Cornwall Sunset HDR

I always rather fancied this image, from the moment I took it.

However, it was quite blown out due to some harsh afternoon sun, and so my single exposure took some work to get it anywhere near worthy of posting on my blog, so I scrapped it after a few attempts.

I have now used 3 exposures from Photoshop and tone mapped them in Photomatix (I'm currently loving this process and it;s very fun indeed!) to create a somewhat HDR version.

Simon: I don't really like ott HDR's images, some look ok for a change but I don't like to lose reality if I can help it. I try to get as natural as possible so that the whole image has good detail throughout, without looking fake

Just looking on your website now, some very nice images. I'm familiar with a fair few Welsh ones you have, Llanberis in particular.

I have a decent one from there, it's not however on my blog yet wink wink
