Book cover - Price?

[phodru]

A publishing company has enquired about using an image of mine for a book cover. I was wondering what to charge for this? Advice would be welcomed.

Thanks.

What sort of book?
How many books will be printed?
Published in how many countries?
What size picture?
Do they want a one-off use or a license to use repeatedly over a fixed period of time?

A small book about machinery is all I know right now.
They say image needs to be at least 6x6 inches.

Haggled and got £500 for it.
Cheers.
