Book Recommendations please

Ok, so the the Business area of the forum has a goldmine of information, but can anyone recommend any books on the subjects of making money from your hobby, through to starting out setting up a photography business?

I've had a look on Amazon and there seem to be a fair few out there, but there are limited reviews and also I'm not too sure how relevant a book by a US author would be to the UK market.

What sort of photographer are you looking to do? There are plenty of books on setting up as a wedding photographer, or children's photographer. I think you may have to be more specific per book and buy one for each genre. You could become a member of the BFP, they send out a monthly magazine which always has a few opportunities listed for the freelance photographer.
 
What sort of photography am I looking to do? Well, any sort that will make me some money :lol:
Serioulsy though, my main area of interest is in portrait work, although I may try my hand at other disciplines.

I've looked at the bestphotographybooks site and it seems that most, if not all, of the titles are by US authors. The problem here is that business related information is not always going to apply / be relevant for UK based businesses.
Can anyone recommend a photography business book written with the UK in mind?
 
Is it a bad sign that I bought a book yesterday from waterstones got home to discover I already have the book!! almost did the same thing on amazon last night as well!!
Think I'll just buy lenses instead of book I've never bought a duplicate lens....yet!
