[Southdowns]

Two pictures which were quite boring as shot, but highly processed using presets on my iPad I quite like them.

The first one's my favourite, but I'm not completely happy with the top of the book to the left of the main one. It was very white and distracting, so I used a clone tool to apply the surrounding tone to it, but to me it looks exactly as if that's what I've done! Maybe it's only because I know about it!

Anyway, thoughts?

Nice ideas with good focus and processing but I really don't think that the bordered are really necessary to the overall image and they don't really add anything to the effect for me personally :shrug:

Cheers Matt. I thought the border suited the "old paper" theme well, especially on the first one, but you're right; nothing is lost by doing away with it.

As I say the processing was mostly from presets on my iPad. My goal now is to learn how to achieve similar effects manually, so I have more control!
