Hi all
I've looked at many of the Flickr links posted here on TP and the various show us your flickr type threads and seen some very good work
So well done for getting the shots
So why do I find some of them incredibly boring? ........ 'yawn'
When I see the photo streams with zero comments, then look at the photo titles I realise why... Why did you bother posting on a photo sharing site if you don't say why you are sharing it?
Anyway, I really do hope this post is taken in the spirit it is intended? i.e. trying to be helpful
...... Here goes and whilst donning a flak jacket....
Why do so many very good photographers post their shots to Flickr and leave the shot title as 0089-36 or whatever? and don't bother explaining their shot or saying why they took it?
If you're just going to use it for hosting then fair-do's but if you would like a bit of Flickr activity on your shots then why not spend a bit of time giving it a meaningful title and a give us a bit of info about the shot, why you took it and what you like or dislike about it?..... I would be happy to comment, but I do expect the Flickr poster to open the conversation.
