Borrowed 430EX - No manual

Can anyone point to any guides or anyone know where I can get a user manual for a Canon 430EX, I have never used any external flash units before and I have borrowed my dads one and would love to know how to work it but I don't have the manual.. Not had a chance to play with it yet as the batteries have only just charged and now I'm at work.

If anyone even had the time to tell me what I need to get it working in auto that would be great.. do i need to set the camera or will it know it's on the hot shoe? (Canon 450D).

Oh and if you could make me an expert buy tonight that would be spiffing

I had just found http://home.comcast.net/~cahla/430EX.pdf as well..

Why do canon not have these available.. I see that you can buy them though.

Stick it on the hotshoe and turn it on, that should probably do the trick. Unless your dad was previously using it in manual mode....
