    Not necessarily to this degree. Linking customers personal data they have on record to tracking their activities.

    Becides, "oh everyone does it" does not make it right.

    At least you have the option to block tracking cookies/scripts/etc in most browsers. Or apps can opt out of "statistics".

    tracking usage is fine sometimes, but when the data is sold on to other companies etc its wrong - especially if you cant opt out.

    How can it gather data on what you DON'T listen to?

    What about ripping CDs to a hard drive - will you be reported if you stream them ?

    And I certainly don't want people knowing that I listen to "Barbie Girl" ! :LOL:
