Yes
Here are the first few I have had time to do. Had to film into the Sun so not as good as could be. I didn't have a programme so can't remember the names of some of the planes.

1. The Blades.

3+4 are a Hawk T.1
6> Team Guinot (not for very much longer as the sponsorship ends soon) fly Stearmans.

Thanks for the help.

Nice shots - how far were they from the beach?

I'm not great with distance's, but at a guess, about 150/200 mtrs from the beach. They did the display between the piers & were further out than the main pier.

how about tomorrows weather?

The forecast this evening, for tomorrow, was clear in the morning but cloudy by 2.00pm. So doesn't look promising. TBH Saturday & Sunday don't look much better, but fingers crossed.

#9 is the clear winner for me there! Super sharp with bags of detail, perhaps a little under exposed but that could just be me - nice work (y)

I'll be there tomorrow afternoon. :)

Went to watch the so called world record attempt for a load of fireworks in not a lot of time.

Over in about 5 seconds. There were thousands of people up on the cliff top and everyone was pretty ****ed off at making the trip there to be sorely dissappointed.

I've just got in. The car is still trapped in a car park in town. It was the biggest load of """" ever. Never, but never will I go to one of there silly firework shows again, NEVER.

Anyhow there is 3 more days of the Airplanes, anyone going to it, just avoid the center & carparks.

Yeah, traffic was insane. Unless, like me, you cycled. ;) I was definitely feeling smug whizzing past all the cars in gridlock.

And luckily, with my newly acquired Slingshot 200AW, I can cycle again tomorrow.:D

Ahoy!

Well, I'll be there for Saturday hopefully in good time . . . at the junction of Manor Road and East Overcliff Drive (this is central between the piers) so weather permitting, will be a good spot (my first time - missed last year's). Oh, and my free spacca bus pass will be a godsend (none of that car park and congestion malarky)! Just hope I can find a decent spec.

Hopefully, the Sigma 100-300mm F4 EX DG and 1.4x TC (should it be required) will be adequate.

I was near there yesterday. If you went from the main pier towards Boscombe pier, then take the first zig zag path up, that's where I was. It is very busy with people near the manor road cliff top, thats where the commentators are.

I was there this afternoon and I learnt 2 things.

1. My 75-300 USM is really up to the job.
2. Even if it was, then it probably would've helped if I had cleaned it last night so there wasn't dust all over it.:( Schoolboy error.

On the plus side, some of the candids I took of the surroundings and spectators are not too bad.

Great shots, the Guinot ones work really well.

I'm Park and Riding in tomorrow, although the lack of info is hugely annoying (no display schedule unless you buy a £6 programme, not even start and end times!), in fact even the P&R page on the website isn't working, so I've no idea what time that's open from and to.
