Hi,

I work for a company called cash generator, in one of our stores we recently bought a photography kit of a customer, I have set the item up to test it before we resell it and im not sure if one of the lights is faulty or not.

It is the 500 espirit model. i switched them both on and one the light came on straight away so i tested the flash and that worked too, the second the light did not work but the flash did.

So i presumed it was the bulb, so i have changed the bulb over from the working one and it still does not work, i dont know if im been a bit thick but is this right or is the item faulty, if so any ideas whats up with it and how i fix it???

your help would be much appreiciated.

james

sounds like the modelling light which usually has a seperate switch or dimmer. Failing that, hope someone hands in a FLUKE and start doing some fault diagnosis ;)

On the back of the flash head, there is a switch which controls whether the modelling lamps are switched on or off.
Have you checked that?
