Great set :)
I got there when it was all over :(, because I had opted for the hunt meeting at Towcester. I always make the wrong decision :D
 
Brilliant set of shots, great timing and action.
What a shooting opportunity for the brave.
I think I'd keep my lens cap securely fitted if I got to the front of the crowd line.
 
I haven't been to this in years! Even a non motorcyclist like me can really appreciate what these guys and gal go through! I think she's been doing it for ages as I ember the pink mo hawk from 5/6 years ago. Great set of photos really bring the event alive
 
As above, really sharp images taken at the 'right' time. I'd like to see some slower shutter speeds with panning as you'd probably nail that!
 
Some nice captures there with 6 and 9 the best for me.
 
Thanks for the positive feedback. It was my first outing with a new lens (Sony 70-200mm f2.8), so I was very wary of the amount of mud flying around! I kept the camera and lens in a rain-sleeve the whole time.

aserota - I didn't have much opportunity to do panning shots, but I grabbed a few away from the main crowds/action...

Notice the rear brake disc on this bike... and he was the winner! No rear brake for most of the race...

Some great shots here. Hope they had a jet wash before jumping back in the car....
 
1st set of shots are great - very very muddy, I bet it was a great sight to see

Does every bike come with a free jet wash.

Cracking set especially to see the well controlled pans :)
