One from this morning of a female Brambling - not as colourful as the male, but still an attractive bird.
Unfortunately there was no nice clear background to be had - sometimes you can only work with what you've got.

Thanks Les - they are pretty scarce now, so we shouldn’t be too worried about backgrounds etc!

Good shot. The b/g may be busy but the bird is crystal clear and stands out well because of that.
It also helps to demonstrate the camouflage colours of the bird.
