Brecon Beacons Sunrise

Headed up to Penyfan at 5:30am yesterday. It was the first time I have attempted night photography and the manual mode on the camera. (only had my D5000 3 months).

It was certainly cold and quite windy!

Excellent photos, they have a real adventurous feel to them. You've got to take a crop of #2 and use it for your avatar, surely?

I think they're all cracking shots, any one of which I would be proud of but top prize should maybe go the number one since it was your first attempt at night photography and an unfamiliar camera to boot.

Only drawback for me looking at these is that they make me homesick
