My first hike and overnight camp of 2014 led me to see the sunrise over the Brecon Beacons this morning, I really didn't want to leave the tent at 5:30am so had a bit of a lie in which made me arrive on the ridge overlooking Pen y Fan and Cribyn just as the sun was rising. I quickly got the camera out and this was the first shot. I was great to be up there without it raining for a change.

I'll echo the post above. The tones and light are great, but the picture, to me, isn't about anything. You could have got low and close to one of those grasses to add some foreground interest, or moved towards the edge of the snow (I think?) to get some visual tension into the image by using a strong diagonal.

But as it is, it's a bit mild - and between the very strong bright sun and your very big watermark, the rest of the scene kinda gets lost.
 
This doesn't really belong in *Talk* Landscapes. I've suggested the mods move it.
