This follows on from this thread. The images were captured with the same equipment and processed in the same way.

I think this may be a third instar Hawthorn shieldbug. The shieldbugs I see often stay still for long periods, making them relatively easy to photograph. In contrast, this one was rushing around in and out of sight the whole time, which made it quite challenging. I almost always use autofocus and I find it particularly helpful with subjects in motion like this.
