This was a lot harder than it looks. The workshop was quite dark so I needed a low f-stop but it meant that the switch was out of focus.

Possibly a very very slight rotation to the right ...or are my eyes playing tricks again ?
Not sure how you overcome the oof bit....would standing slightly further back have helped ?

Hi Martyn. I like the interpretation and the shot Am not entirely sure about the depth of field - it does work very well but it may just be a little too shallow.

The best way to have overcome your DoF issues it would have been to have rested the camera on something in the workshop and then used the timer on the shutter release.

Great start to your 52 !

I like the texture and the words really fit the theme. Personally I don't think the oof knob is an issue, the words are the main focus and they stand out.
