Hello All,
I have been thinking about a longer lens for my Canon - my current "long" lens is a 70-300mm DO F4.5-5.6 lens but this cannot be used with an extender. I want a long lens for a safari holiday but the weight / size of the F2.8 Canon 300 / F4 400 mm lenses justs puts me off (overr 2Kg) AND the £5k cost.
I began to think - is there a another camera (bridge type) with a non-interchangeable lens zoom lens that I can buy for a lot less than £5k that will give me a long reach capability of good quality and low weight.
May not be same quality as 2.5Kg lens but may be more manageable? Any ideas.
Mel
