My old fella is after a bridge camera for a maximum of £120
He's picked a few out, but i'm not the best to choose really as i shoot DSLR's!
As this is the best place to ask, i thought i'd see what you guys would recommend.
Here's the email he sent me;

These are the ones I have been looking at.
Sony Cybershot DSG-H300 20.1 MP, 35Zoom Amazon £99.

Nikon Coopix L330 20.2MP, 26x zoom Argos £99.99

Nikon Coolpix L830 16MP, 34 x zoom Argos £109.99

Polaroid IE4038 18MP, 40x zoom Amazon/argos £89.99

Canon Powershot SX400 16MP, 30x zoom £119.99 Argos

Fujifilm S8650 16MP 35x zoom. amazon/PC world/ Argos.

I want best overall performer @ £89 to £120.

Thanks for those that reply
Carlo

Don't get the Canon Powershot SX400, I got my other half this a few back.
It is garbage to be polite. The focus was pathetic and the noise levels unusable.
I took it back the next day and got her the Nikon Coolpix L830.
The difference in cameras is huge.

No idea about the other cameras though.

Hi Keith
Passed on your thoughts, and he narrowed it down to the Nikon and Fuji.
He went into Currys (i think) to weigh them both up and decided on the Nikon.
I'll now be bombarded with pics of his many DIY projects and trips to the local B+Q/Garden centre! :ROFLMAO:

As long as he's happy with his choice, glad to be helpful.
Keith
