Hi guys,
I'm just after abit of advice really for my girlfriends little brother. He's 11 but has shown a real interest in photography after me teaching him some stuff over the past weeks. He's told his mum that he would like one like mine but for afew reasons I don't think it's really suitable. The first being his mum has set a budget of £130 and even a small-ish slr like my d7000 seemed massive in his hands and I think he struggled with it. I've put forward the idea of a bridge camera which seemed to fit the bill perfectly. I've had a quick search and come up with the nikon L310 and the Fujifilm S4200, both seem very similar spec etc but the fuji has the advantage of an EVF whereas the nikon is solely a back screen job, I think he liked using the viewfinder on mine over the weekend.
Has anybody had any experience with these models or anything similar that they can put forward as a suggestion? I can talk about slr cameras all day but I really don't know what's hot and what's not in the bridge camera world, so I've turned to you good people for some advice! I can't see him going far wrong with either tbh but some backing up would nice!
