Was supposed to be meeting someone for dinner in Glasgow when I passed the Clyde and saw how still it was. Quickly grabbed this and a couple of other shots to be only a fashionable 30 minutes late.

I like this one. All the high quality night shots around lately are making me think I should get out and try some. Bath has lots of loverly architecture for these too.

Any tips?

BTW, i'd like to see a larger version of this one.

Like Wow HUN ... how still is that then ! Fantastic for a grabbed shot m8 !

Trust you enjoyed your dinner after getting this under your belt ?

We like ... ! TFS ...

Tips Ghandi? Go out at night!:woot:

I also took photos of a a pedestrian bridge off to the left of this one but they came out awful. I was unsure what happened but someone has told me that when taking nightshots you should set the WB manually to something which I can't remember (2nd glass of wine - hic!)

Otherwise good tripod, mirror locked up and remote switch.

Bigger res shot just for you at http://garywilliamson.co.uk/jalbum/Landscape/IMG_0701_Large_for_Ghandi.jpg :wave4:

Nice one, cheers dude. Will try and get out one night this week if it warms up!

I can see the detail a lot clearer now. much more satisfying!

Nice floodlighting job on the bridge.

Is that xmas lights on the trees? Kinda takes away from the bridge.

Good capture.

Looks amazing - and the bigger version only looks better again, the reflection in each span is excellent.

Well Done:thumb:

Great shot Mr Upnorth. Very nice indeed :)

whoah, great shot, the reflections really make it, love the blue :)
