Hi everyone,
I've recently set up a website and got (forced) a few friends to look at it. As soon as it loaded I was a bit upset because the pictures I thought were perfectly balanced seemed over exposed and blown in places.
I guess it's my screen being to dark (a Sun Microsystems LCD, GH18PS) or theres being too light. To give myself peace of mind, I tried calibrating it using a grey scale chart and then by printing a picture and trying to adjust it that way but still found it off.
So ... What is the best way to calibrate a screen? Do I need to save some pennies for spyder or similar?
