A small selection from 'Friday Night Lights' at the mem, which as floodlights go are the worst you can work under. Not only a lack of light, but different lighting which can affect the colour balance. However, its all good in print. Kick of was 7.30 so I decided not to dial in my wb, but allow the camera to adjust in auto, as there would be subjective differences as the light faded, as the floods came on and actually warmed up through the match. Often, you can take a flood lit wb reading pre kick off ad find it totally different at the end. The D3 performed very well, started at about 1000 ISO and pushed it to 5000 last night. No noise evident. Bristol lost in the end, but it was a lucid game of rugby with international players evident in both teams. All images edited in Capture NX which is possibly the best invention since high heels!
